The Grand Cascapedia Giants
Flowing through the mountains and valley of Cascapedia St Jules, is the fabled Grand Cascapedia River. If this river could talk, it would tell a thousand tales about the community that surrounds it, and the people who came to the river in the hopes of catching a Grand Cascapedia Giant.
For more than 150 hundred years, anglers have made their way to this fishing paradise in the hopes of catching their own trophy fish. They built private camps and set up a system that would enable them to maintain this beautiful and peaceful river.
This is the story of those Grand Cascapedia Giants, the fascinating Atlantic salmon that weigh 45 pounds or more, that can only be found in the waters of the Cascapedia.
And it is the story of some of the rich and famous fishermen who caught them.
